2Dyles Services ("we", "us") operates this website and the Remanence engine. For the personal data described here, 2Dyles Services is the data controller. You can reach us about privacy at info.remanence@proton.me.
Remanence prepares a reflective "map" from an account of your lived experience that you write yourself. To do this we process:
We do not collect your date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, or full legal name. An earlier "Meta Information" feature that used birth details has been withdrawn.
Your account may contain sensitive information, for example about your health, beliefs, ethnicity, or personal history. Where it does, this is special-category data under UK and EU data protection law. Our lawful basis for processing it is your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the consent statement at intake. You can withdraw consent at any time (see "Your rights"); withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
Your account is not stored on our systems. It is processed to generate your map and is not retained afterwards. The only lasting copy of your account is the one included in the appendix of the map we email to you; that copy is yours.
To run the service securely and lawfully, we do keep limited operational data:
If you book a paid one-to-one session, that is a separate, consented channel. To deliver it, your map is shared with your facilitator by email and held only for as long as needed to prepare and carry out the session, and to research the recommended actions, after which it is deleted. A session may be recorded only with your separate, explicit consent; you can decline recording and still have your session. Where a session is recorded, we keep a written transcript to prepare and support your session and delete the original audio; the transcript is retained only as long as needed for your care and then deleted.
We are building a research capability. Your information is used for research only if you separately opt in, and any research use is on a pseudonymised basis with its own safeguards. You can decline, and you can withdraw a prior opt-in at any time.
The website and its database are hosted in the European Economic Area. The AI processing that prepares your map is carried out by our AI provider in the United States under the provider's Data Processing Agreement and Standard Contractual Clauses, which provide the safeguards required for that transfer.
Subject to law, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Because your account is not stored, there is usually nothing of it to return or erase; these rights apply to the operational data described above and to any session records. To exercise a right, contact info.remanence@proton.me. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
We keep operational data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and session records only as long as needed for your care. Specific retention periods per record type are being finalised and will be stated here.
Remanence provides an educational reflection of patterns in what you shared. It is not medical, psychological, or legal advice, and it is not a diagnosis. You remain the authority on your own life.
We may update this notice as the service develops. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
These terms govern your use of 2dyles-services.com and the services offered on it. By using the site or buying a service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
1. Who we are. The site and its services are operated by 2Dyles Services ("we", "us"), established in The Hague, the Netherlands. Registration and VAT details are available on request. Contact support@2dyles-services.com.
2. The services. Remanence free map (a limited, incomplete reflective map at no charge); Remanence full map (paid, delivered by us); one-to-one sessions (paid, by video or voice call); Knowledge Hub courses (hosted on our learning platform and also subject to that platform's terms); Agents Engine v1 access, walk-through and licensing for organisations and researchers, where a separate agreement, if any, prevails for the engine; and optional contributions, which are voluntary payments and not a purchase.
3. Who may use the services. You must be at least 18 to submit an intake, buy a service, or book a session.
4. Not medical, legal, psychological, or financial advice. Remanence is a reflective tool for personal reflection and general information. It is not a diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice, and does not replace a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis service.
5. Nature and limits of the map. The map is prepared from the account you provide and its quality depends on what you write. It is interpretive, not factual or predictive, and can be incomplete. Known limitations are disclosed on the site.
6. Prices and payment. Prices are shown on the relevant page in euro, with VAT treatment stated at the point of sale. Payments are handled by Mollie; we do not receive or store your full card details.
7. Refunds and cancellations. Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 24 hours before the start time through your confirmation link; within 24 hours, or for a missed session, the fee is non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. A paid map, once preparation has begun, is non-refundable subject to your statutory rights; where we fail to deliver a paid map we refund it or prepare it manually. EU consumer withdrawal rights are preserved and explained at the point of sale. Contributions are non-refundable.
8. Your account text, consent, and data. You keep ownership of your written account and grant us a limited right to process it only to prepare and deliver your map and to support a booked session. Personal data is handled as set out in the Privacy sections above, including special-category information, lawful basis, and retention. Do not submit another living person's sensitive information without their knowledge.
9. Acceptable use. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, or infringing content; do not break, overload, probe, or bypass the security or limits of the site or engine; no automated scraping or bulk submission; and do not use the services to build a competing product from our methods or outputs.
10. Intellectual property. The site, the Remanence engine and its method, the Agents Engine, and the course content are our intellectual property or licensed to us. Your personal map output is yours for your own personal use. You may not resell, sublicense, or publish our methods, engine, or course materials without our written permission.
11. Third-party services. The site relies on Mollie (payments), Thinkific (courses), hCaptcha (bot protection), and hosting and delivery providers, each governed by its own terms and privacy notices.
12. Availability. The services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and parts of the site are still in development.
13. Limitation of liability. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that and to your statutory rights, our total liability arising from a paid service is limited to the amount you paid for that service in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you take based on a map or session.
14. Changes. We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. The version in force when you buy a service applies to that purchase.
15. Governing law and disputes. These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, and disputes are subject to the courts of The Hague, without affecting any mandatory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
